After years of shaping his image as one of football's most recognizable athletes, Tom Brady is leaning further into the fashion world. His latest appearance showed a new side of the retired NFL star, whose interest in style has grown well beyond game-day suits and activewear.

Tom Brady Made His Catwalk Debut

Brady, 48, walked the runway during the Gucci Cruise 2027 collection fashion show on Saturday, May 16, 2026. The event took place in Times Square in New York City, where the former quarterback stepped out in a head-to-toe black leather look.

His runway debut placed him among several major names who also walked during the fashion event. Paris Hilton and Emily Ratajkowski appeared on the catwalk, while Cindy Crawford closed the show.

The audience was just as star-studded. Mariah Carey, Shawn Mendes, Kim Kardashian, Lindsay Lohan, and Lohan's husband, Bader Shammas, were among those watching. Alix Earle, who sparked romance rumors with Brady earlier this year, was also in attendance.

Fashion Has Long Been Part of Brady's Brand

Although the Gucci show marked Brady's first time on the runway, he was not entering unfamiliar territory. The seven-time Super Bowl champion previously moved into fashion through his namesake activewear and athleisure brand, BRADY.

The brand, which later partnered with NOBULL, includes hoodies, pants, outerwear, and accessories. When the line first launched in January 2022, Brady said he had been deeply involved in its creation and had always loved fashion and apparel.

The first collection focused on performance and everyday wear, with pieces designed for movement and function. The launch included outerwear, pants, shorts, and other versatile staples.

Brady also used the brand's first campaign to spotlight young athletes, including NCAA players and newly drafted stars. He said at the time that supporting them was meaningful because he would have embraced a similar opportunity when he was a young athlete.

Gisele Bündchen Previously Praised His Style

Brady's fashion interests also caught the attention of his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen. When his apparel brand launched, the supermodel described him as someone who cared deeply about clothes and understood how fashion could help people feel good.

Brady also credited Bündchen with being helpful during the creative process. At the time, he praised her long career in fashion and described her as someone with remarkable integrity.

The former couple split in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage, but Bündchen's past comments offered a glimpse into how seriously Brady approached his style ambitions.

With his Gucci runway debut, Tom Brady added another chapter to his post-NFL evolution. The move may have surprised some fans, but for those who have followed his growing fashion interests, the catwalk appeared to be a natural next step.
