The documentary also brought previously private revelations into the open, including that Mariska's biological father was Italian Singer Nelson Sardelli rather than Mickey, whom she had long believed was her biological father. Even more haunting was a detail surrounding the night Jayne died.

According to an account of revelations from the documentary, Jayne was traveling near Biloxi, Mississippi, with Attorney Sam Brody and Driver Ronnie Harrison when their car crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer.

She was just 22 years old. According to the medical examiner's findings reported by PEOPLE, Bobbi died from a combination of immersion in water and drug intoxication.

Officials said pneumonia and encephalopathy were more immediate causes resulting from the immersion and intoxication. However, the medical examiner could not determine whether Bobbi's death was accidental or intentional.

The findings were released on what would have been her 23rd birthday. Bobbi's death also became entangled in a legal dispute involving her boyfriend Nick Gordon.
