Taylor Swift Shows off Engagement Ring That Travis Kelce Had 'For a Really Long Time'

The "Actually Romantic" singer appeared on the late-night show to promote her new album and dish on her engagement to the NFL quarterback.

On October 6, 2025, Taylor Swift appeared on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" to talk about her brand-new record, "The Life of a Showgirl," and more. At one point, Jimmy Fallon asked her about her ring, prompting the singer to reveal details of her engagement to Travis Kelce and what it all means.

Around three minutes into her interview, Fallon couldn't help but point out the shiny rock adorning Swift's finger. He also asked if Kelce had taken his time while choosing the jewelry.

Taylor Swiftresponded, "He did and he had it for a really long time before he gave it to me, too." The singer, who got engaged on August 26, also shared that her fiancé worked with a custom ring designer and that she stares at it frequently.

More importantly, she called the NFL star her "favorite person," adding, "The fact that this is the person that I get to hang out with every day forever, that's the whole thing of it. You look at it and you're like, 'I'm going to hang out with him forever,' and this represents that."
