Dylan Mulvaney, 29, has shown CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins, 34, support after President Donald Trump attacked both women during his speech at the White House Correspondents' Dinner on Friday evening, July 24.

The media personality took to her Instagram Stories on Saturday, sharing an inspirational quote attributed to Eleanor Roosevelt from Collins' recap of the evening. "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent," she captioned the quote, adding three white heart emojis.

During his speech, Trump zeroed in on Collins, who had stepped onstage only moments earlier to accept an award recognizing her 2025 coverage of the administration.

"I want to personally congratulate CNN's Kaitlan Collins on receiving her award. It was all about me. It's a fake — she shouldn't get the award, it was a fake. But I didn't mind. I said, 'Kaitlan, congratulations.' But it was fake, there's no question about it," the president said.

Trump then took aim at the White House correspondent's facial expressions, telling her to "just smile," before pivoting to a comparison between Collins and Mulvaney that referenced the 2023 Bud Light controversy.

"I thought Kaitlan had really made it big with a major new sponsorship, but then I informed her that it wasn't her on the Bud Light can, it was Dylan Mulvaney," he said.

"Dylan Mulvaney cost Bud Light $35 billion in market cap," Trump claimed. "That was the worst commercial ever made by the way, for those few people who want to hear that. Most people don't care, but I would. I wouldn't want to hire Dylan any time soon."

Mulvaney found herself back in the political crosshairs after starring in a short promotional video for a Bud Light collaboration. The brand partnership was quickly slammed by conservatives, who launched a boycott that led to a significant decline in sales.

She eventually broke her silence with a full video response, posted Sunday night. "My name is Dylan Mulvaney and the president said my name four times in his speech on Friday night," she began, before congratulating Collins on her achievement.

"I'm incredibly honored to be compared to her in any way and I hope that she continues doing all the great work," she said. Mulvaney then marveled at the fact that despite "kind of flying under the radar," she is "still [the president's] topic of conversation all these years later."

"It seems to me that I might be the one that got away for these men, like I am permanently burned into their retinas, I am microchipped into their minds," she quipped.

Following the event, Collins posted her own Instagram tribute to the evening, featuring two photos of herself with CNN colleague and mentor Wolf Blitzer, who presented her with the award.

"The second best part of last night's White House Correspondents Dinner was receiving an award from my friend and mentor, @wolfblitzer," she wrote. "The first was reminding everyone why the First Amendment — and asking uncomfortable questions that people in power don't like — matters."
