Ciara and Husband Russ Wilson Expecting Baby No. 5

The Grammy-winning singer and her NFL star husband made the reveal in true family fashion — with a little help from their kids. Baby number five is officially on the way.

Ciara and her husband, former NFL star Russell Wilson, are expecting their fifth child together. The couple announced the exciting news in an elaborate, heartwarming Instagram post on Monday, September 7.

The carousel opens with a video showing a close-up of T-shirts hanging on a clothesline, panning to Ciara pinning up a tiny white romper. The "Ride" singer appears barefoot in a white tank top and baggy jeans, pink rollers in her hair, and her baby bump fully visible.

In the next slide, Ciara poses in her grassy backyard, one arm raised as she clips the romper to the line. Four other white T-shirts already hang there, each printed with a name in bold black letters: "FUTURE," "SIENNA," "WIN," and "AMORA."

"One more person to Love 🖐🏽🥺🖤," the caption read. "Baby Cinco! @ciara," Russell replied in the comments. Since tying the knot in 2016, Ciara and Russell have welcomed three children together: daughters Amora Princess, 2, and Sienna Princess, 9, and son Win Harrison, 6.

The Grammy Award-winning singer previously welcomed son Future Zahir, 12, with her ex-fiancé, rapper Future. The pregnancy announcement also featured her current youngest, Amora, snapping a photo of her mom with a small camera.

"Say cheese!" the little one is heard saying. The post quickly drew a wave of supportive messages from fans and famous friends alike. Vanessa Bryant commented, "It's about damn time. 😂 I love you guys so much!!!!! Sooooo happy for you!!! 5️⃣ 🎉🎉🎉😘🥰❤️."

La La Anthony added, "🤭🥰Another beautiful blessing!!! More to love!!! Making space over at Auntie La's house 😂❤️❤️love my family. I'm just over here cheesing so hard ❤️🙏🏽CINCO!!!" Rapper Latto also chimed in, writing, "Congrats Ci 🥹❤️."

Ciara later shared a follow-up video capturing the moment she and Russell surprised their kids with the news of baby number five. All of them were thrilled to welcome a new sibling — though Future was, without question, the most excited of the bunch.

Russell and Ciara often share glimpses of their home life with fans on social media. After welcoming baby Amora in December 2023, Ciara returned to touring not long after.

That August, she posted an Instagram carousel filled with candid family moments from the road. The proud mom explained that it was the "in between" time spent with her four children that kept her grounded during her travels.

To open the post, the mom of four shared a photo with her two daughters — Sienna clinging to her back while Ciara cradled her youngest in her arms. "The moments that filled my cup on the in between. #TourLife❤️," she wrote in the caption.

In September 2024, Ciara opened up to People about traveling with her entire family while on tour. "My kids traveled with me, and I couldn't have done it any other way," she shared.

"They were like little precious babies of a tour having so much fun with Auntie, Missy, and Uncle Busta," she said. "I mean, it's just the energy was just incredible." Still, Ciara admitted her mind eventually drifted toward getting her kids back into the classroom come fall.

She confessed that once she "got off the road," she found herself "thinking about all the things [she] had to check off for school," adding that they "had a school shopping moment."

"It was the most amazing time with my babies," she said. "I was like, 'This is what life is about.' So, the little joys in life. I'm so grateful."
