According to Hello! magazine, Prince Harry was not invited to the ceremony. A friend of the couple told the outlet that Peter and Harry have lost contact over the years.

“Peter and Harry haven’t spoken for several years and have simply lost touch, so he hasn’t been invited,” the source said.

Representatives for both Prince Harry and Peter Phillips declined to comment when contacted by PEOPLE.

Harry also attended Peter’s first wedding to Autumn Phillips in 2008 alongside then-girlfriend Chelsy Davy.

Peter’s mother, Princess Anne, is expected to attend with her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence. Reports have also linked King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Edward, Sophie, Zara Tindall and Mike Tindall to the guest list.

Peter and Zara are the children of Princess Anne and her first husband, Captain Mark Phillips.

Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson Also Reportedly Excluded

Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson reportedly were not invited to the wedding either.

According to sources close to the couple, concerns over public attention connected to Andrew’s past ties to Jeffrey Epstein played a role in the decision.

A friend of Peter and Harriet reportedly said Andrew and Ferguson’s attendance could become a “distraction” because of renewed scrutiny surrounding Epstein-related documents and media coverage.

Andrew stepped away from public royal duties following controversy tied to his relationship with the late convicted sex offender. Although he has repeatedly denied wrongdoing, the issue continues to generate attention around the Duke of York and his family.

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie Expected to Attend

Despite reports that their parents were not invited, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are still expected to attend the ceremony.
