Louis Tomlinson found fame as a member of the famous boy band One Direction, formed when the musicians joined "The X Factor UK" in 2010.

However, his road to stardom was met with criticism from a previous "The X Factor" winner, Steve Brookstein, who said Tomlinson was not a good singer.

Despite Brooksein's comment, Tomlinson's fan base grew monumentally, together with his success in the music industry. However, his rise to popularity also drew attention to his personal life, most especially his romance.

In the midst of his career, Tomlinson had a few public relationships. Among them, one thrived despite being on and off, and another resulted in his first child.

Louis' Longtime On-And-off Relationship with Eleanor Calder

Eleanor Calder is Tomlison's longtime girlfriend, forming a romantic relationship at the onset of his career in September 2011. The couple was often spotted out on dates, if not at a One Direction concert where Calder was being supportive.

They spent time apart when Calder studied in England and Tomlinson went on tour with his band around the globe. Unfortunately, they called it quits in 2015 without sharing the cause. The singer's busy schedule reportedly caused a toll on their relationship.

In 2017, as Tomilson grieved his mother's death, the pair reconnected. They reportedly rekindled their romance but stayed away from the public eye, including social media.

However, there were rare times when they made appearances on each other's social media. In 2021, Tomlinson appeared on Calder's Instagram story holding hands with her. Such posts suggested they were still together by the end of 2021.

Who Is Eleanor Calder?

Calder is a British model, stylist, and fashion blogger, running The Trend Pear. The website is an avenue for Calder to share tips on travel, fashion, and lifestyle. She also has a strong social media presence, with over 3.5 million followers on Instagram as of writing.

It didn't take long before the parents had a legal dispute over the custody of their child. An insider said that Tomlinson handled the expenses and worked on a final financial agreement.

She acquired her college education at the University of Manchester, where she received a degree in sociology and politics. She later pursued a career in fashion.

Who Is the Mother of Tomlinson's Child?

During Tomlinson and Calder's split in 2015, the singer began a romantic relationship with Briana Jungwirth, a Los Angeles stylist. She studied at Agoura High School before attending Cuesta College to obtain a degree.

Jungwirth met Tomlinson through mutual friends who introduced them at a nightclub in LA. Although they hit it off quickly, their love did not last.

Their brief relationship resulted in the birth of their child, a boy named Freddie Reign Tomlinson. A source close to the couple said at the time:

"It was a surprise at first, but he and Briana are very, very close friends, and this has brought them even closer."

However, it didn't take long before the parents had a legal dispute over the custody of their child. An insider said that Tomlinson handled the expenses and worked on a final financial agreement. Jungwirth reportedly demanded more than what he saw as reasonable.

Becoming parents significantly changed the former couple's lives. According to Tomlinson, fatherhood made him more mature and cemented his relationship with Jungwirth. They are successfully co-parenting their son while moving on with their lives separately.
