Jennifer Aniston has always given off an air of calm and grounded confidence, and her morning routine shows exactly how she creates that feeling each day.
In past interviews, she broke down the small habits she leans on to ease into her morning with intention. Her ritual is simple, consistent, and surprisingly relatable.
Aniston begins every morning with meditation. As she put it, “Meditation, that’s a no-brainer.” It’s the first thing she does after waking up, and it’s become one of the foundations of her daily routine.

Right after meditating, she moves into journaling. She explained, “I also journal and if I don’t get to do that, it’s a bummer.”
This small habit helps her clear her mind and organize her thoughts. It’s a moment for reflection before she gets pulled into emails, meetings, or anything stressful.
One of the most relatable parts of her routine is her strict no-phone rule. She shared, “No phones, no email no texting, and no social media. No looking at any of that for a good hour, hour and a half.”
For her, staying away from screens first thing in the morning is a way to protect her peace. She even recommends trying it for a week, saying, “You won’t believe the difference.”
After her morning meditation and journaling, she focuses on hydration. Aniston takes a moment to drink water before she makes her coffee. Coffee is a beloved part of her routine—so much so that she joked, “Coffee, mediation, meditation comma coffee, depending on the order.”
She often adds collagen to her morning cup, keeping it consistent with her overall wellness approach.
Aniston also went into more detail about the drink she has before her workout. She shared, “I drink ARMRA Colostrum first thing in the morning, with room temperature water and a whole lemon squeezed into it.”
And when the weather changes, so does her drink. In the colder months, she said, “I’ll steep a little teaspoon of ginger… and then I’ll put a little drop of Manuka honey.”
She added that the warm version is “so delicious served hot.” These small choices help her start her day feeling nourished and energized.
Before the day really picks up, Aniston spends time with her dogs. She explained that “walking them and feeding them, that’s my typical morning.” It’s a simple, comforting part of her routine that adds warmth and structure to her day.
