For Cara Delevingne, wellness is less about following trends and more about tuning in. The supermodel begins each day with habits that help her feel centered, choosing small, meaningful rituals that support her body, mind, and the pace of her ever-evolving life.

Cara Delevingne has always embraced evolution, whether in her career, her personal growth, or the way she shows up for herself each day. In a conversation with WWD following the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, the supermodel opened up about the wellness and beauty habits that keep her grounded, centered, and connected to her sense of self.

Strength Through Movement and Rest

For Delevingne, wellness is never a one-size-fits-all system. She explained that she draws strength from a variety of outlets depending on what she needs in the moment.

Sometimes that means channeling energy into self-defense workouts. Other days, breathwork, rest, and quiet reflection play a more important role, especially after an emotional experience. Instead of forcing a strict schedule, she gives herself permission to adapt daily.

This approach allows her to grow from the inside out. Wellness for Delevingne is less about rules and more about listening to her mind and body, choosing practices that support resilience rather than strain.

Beauty as a Meditative Ritual

Her beauty routine follows the same philosophy of self-connection. She explained that over time, she has learned to let go of outside pressure and make beauty something calm and enjoyable. "It is a form of self-expression," she said. "I find it quite meditative when I take my time to get ready for something."

Still, she does not feel obligated to wear makeup every day. Many mornings, going bare-faced feels just as right as putting on a full look. As she put it, "It just depends on how I feel and is about meeting myself where I'm at."

When she is feeling under the weather, she reaches for Vitamin C before any concealer. Even supplements are taken only when necessary. Her entire routine centers around intuition. As she explained, "I adapt to how I'm feeling."

Wellness That Extends to Her Social Life

Delevingne also applies this intuitive mindset to her schedule. She laughed about her tendency to make plans with friends but also value quiet nights at home.

"If I want a night in, I can say I'll be somewhere, but there's always a 50/50 chance I might not go. I tend to proclaim my flakiness early, so technically I'm not flaky," she shared. It is a humorous confession, but also a reminder that honoring personal limits can be an act of wellness too.

Even with her flexible philosophy, Delevingne does have a few consistent morning rituals. Before checking her phone, she spends about ten minutes doing breathing exercises and yoga to loosen her muscles and get her blood flowing. She also prioritizes hydration and aims to drink at least one "massive bottle of water" each day.

Finding Calm Throughout the Day

Delevingne sprinkles moments of grounding into her everyday routine. She constantly takes moments for herself before her day really starts. Throughout the day, she also makes it a habit to take a breath.

These pauses help her manage overwhelm and quiet the negative self-talk that creeps in. At night, she closes her day with self-compassion.

Delevingne's gentle, intuitive approach to beauty and self-care aligns with the routines of several women in her close circle, including her longtime friend Taylor Swift.

Like Delevingne, Swift keeps her wellness simple and consistent, favoring easy, feel-good habits over complicated regimens. Their shared appreciation for low-pressure routines reflects a broader shift toward mindful self-care — something both women embrace as they balance demanding careers with personal well-being.
