Bunnie Xo Says Jelly Roll Is Dating After Filing for Their Divorce

Bunnie Xo addressed Jelly Roll's new romance on her podcast, even encouraging women to shoot their shot with her ex. Here's what she had to say.

Jelly Roll has moved on from his nearly decade-long marriage to Bunnie Xo — and she couldn't be more supportive.

Bunnie revealed that her soon-to-be ex-husband is already dating amid their divorce during a recent episode of her "Dumb Blonde" podcast.

"Has my husband started dating? Yes, he has," she confirmed during the June 18 instalment. "And we're happy for him."

Earlier in the episode, Bunnie (real name Alisa DeFord) had acknowledged that fans needed "to understand why this is happening" and "where this is coming from" as she addressed how she and Jelly were moving forward as they navigated the split.

News of their divorce emerged last Monday, June 16, nearly a month after court documents obtained by multiple outlets revealed that Jelly had filed his petition on May 18.

The country star, who listed May 9 as the date of separation, cited irreconcilable differences. The internet promptly erupted, with fans piecing together any signs that the couple had been headed for a breakup.

Rumors soon surfaced that Jelly, 41, had begun dating 21-year-old singer-songwriter Jesse Murph. Bunnie, 46, wasted no time shutting down the speculation on her podcast, firmly clarifying that there had been no infidelity on either side.

"That is absolutely [expletive] kind of disgusting, guys. Like, love you guys for trying to put together the pieces, but that's a 20-year age gap, and that's just disrespectful. Jesse Murph is literally a couple years older than Bailey [Jelly's daughter]," Bunnie said. "He's not with her."

Elsewhere in the episode, Bunnie had nothing but kind words for her ex, praising him for being in the best shape of his life. "Daddy Roll is probably in his finest season, right? He's feeling himself. He looks so good. He is healthier than he's ever been," she said.

As for her own headspace, Bunnie made clear she was in no rush to jump back into the dating pool.

"J is a little lover, and he, you know, he likes to snuggle and he likes to cuddle," she said, assuring listeners she's "fine over here." "The crazy thing is, I'm not even ready to hook up with a dude. I'm ready to focus on myself and pour into myself."

She even went a step further, cheerfully encouraging women to slide into Jelly's Instagram DMs. "Don't be scared. Shoot your [expletive] shot," she said. "I will be the ex-wife, okay? And we'll have a great time."

"Her saying she is never going to be in a relationship again and him already dating tells me everything I need to know. She stood by him through everything, but he bounced during her most emotional, vulnerable time," another said.

"For me personally, if my soon to be ex-husband was dating 40 days after separated, I couldn't call him my best friend. More power to them [sic]," a third shared, while another added, "If he's dating already means he has moved on in his mind long before the split."
