The TV personality opened up about his mother's current state while promoting his father's new memoir.
On October 6, 2025, Jack Osbourne was interviewed by "Good Morning America" as part of the promotions for Ozzy Osbourne's memoir "Last Rites." When asked about Sharon Osbourne, the son of one of the greatest rock stars in the world had a surprising answer.
"You know, when people have been asking me that question, I say she's okay, but she's not okay," he answered, adding that his mother has felt the love from fans from all over the world, especially because it came at a scale that none of them even imagined.
"I think every child sits there and kind of has this thought about one day their parents won't be there, and what will that be like," Jack continued. "It's just a part of being a human. We just didn't think of it. [...] And so it was such — it was a different weight to it.
Jack was also asked about a quote in the book where Ozzy said that had he been "clean and sober," he wouldn't have been the legend that people remember today.
The 39-year-old agreed that that was partially true, except that his father was completely sober by the end, and he was still the same. The legendary rock star died on July 22, with the family announcing it through a post on Instagram.
