The reality TV star has spent years chasing a diagnosis, and her latest updates suggest she may finally be closing in on one. Now, Glanville is letting fans into the daily reality of what that fight actually looks like.
Brandi Glanville is getting candid about how she feels amid her weight loss and ongoing health struggles. The TV personality took to Instagram on Monday, September 7, to share an update regarding her treatment.

In reels also shared on Sunday, September 6, and Tuesday, September 8, Glanville told followers she's now following a rigorous regimen of ongoing infusions to treat a facial parasite.
As she gathered the infusions on her kitchen counter, she opened up by admitting she's "so skinny right now," explaining that the treatments make it difficult for her to eat. "I feel like death. I look like death," she said.
Glanville went on to show her IV of Imipenem — a type of antibiotic used to treat severe bacterial infections — which she administers via pump. She noted that she starts the infusion at 4 p.m. and keeps it running through the night.

The former Bravo star said she had to learn how to administer some of the infusions on her own, though a nurse visits daily to help with the rest, coming in for four hours each evening.
Glanville said the entire process takes 18 hours and requires "a lot of setup," adding that she now rarely leaves home except to record her podcast, "Unfiltered."
In her second video, Glanville briefly touched on where the problem is coming from, saying it's located on the left side of her face. "I know what's wrong, and I wanna cut my face open and take it out," she said.

Toward the end of the clip, she added, "Luckily I found a doctor that can read MRI results and did the MRI." In the caption, Glanville admitted she "never thought this would become [her] life."
"A PICC line. Hours of IV medication. And still fighting to get whatever is in my face OUT. I know everyone wants to know exactly what I'm dealing with. I'm not ready to share that part just yet," she wrote. "But I am ready to start showing you what it's taken to get here. This is my reality right now."
In the third installment, Glanville filmed herself receiving the infusions while lying in bed. She revealed that along with the MRI, she'd also had an ultrasound, during which the technician told her there was "something alive" in her face and that "it was moving."
"And she'd never seen anything like it, and the radiologist agreed," Glanville said. "So yeah, if I don't find a radiologist to come cut this out of my face, I'm gonna do it myself." She then posted footage of the ultrasound itself, showing two people studying the monitor.
In the caption, Glanville shared that she's "finally getting some answers." "The ultrasound showed something I wasn't prepared to see… and yes, I saw it with my own eyes," she wrote. "There's a lot more to explain, and I know you guys have questions."
"I'm going to share more soon and give you a better explanation of what they found, what it means, and what happens next," she wrote. "For now, this is what my days look like. Treatment, answers and hopefully getting closer to getting this OUT of my face."
Glanville has been documenting her health struggles publicly since July 2023, initially attributing the issues to something she ate while filming "Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip" in Morocco.

That year, she was diagnosed with stress-induced angioedema, a condition that caused severe facial swelling.
Then, in February 2026, Glanville revealed that her disfigurement stemmed from a parasite linked to her ruptured, 18-year-old silicone breast implants, which had left her lymph nodes "clogged."
She said it took 21 different doctors and $200,000 to trace the source of her symptoms. Glanville had the implants removed, but the parasite returned in June. That month, she shared a further update revealing a "benign tumor" in one of her facial lymph nodes.
