Meghan Markle Sparks Discussion Over a Nose Job After Sharing a Selfie Video

The Duchess of Sussex shared a selfie video to highlight her charity work in supporting those affected by the California fires.

Meghan Markle was seemingly makeup-free in a short clip where she publicly thanked Billie Eilish for a special cause. The clip has made waves online with some fans pointing out alleged changes to her features, while others praising her natural beauty.

Meghan was seen wearing a black crewneck sweater paired with high-waisted blue jeans in the clip. The sweater featured a touching tribute to her children, Archie and Lilibet as their names were printed in white cursive near its collar.

The mom of two seemed makeup-free for the video, pairing her casual look with two gold bracelets and wearing her brown locks down to the side.

Speculation about Meghan's appearance quickly took over as the selfie video made rounds on social media. "Make up free but full of fillers.. had a nose job.. botoxed [sic]," one person declared. Another seemed certain, claiming, "She had a NOSE job years ago…you can see it."

Some fans questioned whether this was a new development, "Did she have a nose job. Looks like Michael Jackson's," while another user remarked, "Did she get another nose job? How many is it now?"

More people weren't impressed by her appearance as someone observed, "We know the eyes, nose, and teeth have been altered." Others focused on more than just her nose, with one asking, "When did she get the lip fillers??" and another bluntly stating, "Total facial remodel gone on there." One person simply laughed, writing, "The ozempic [sic] face 😂😂."

However, not all comments were critical. A fan gushed, "Meghan looks so beautiful, youthful, fresh and clean. My Princess 😘." Another admirer added, "She literally looks so young and youthful. She has natural beauty without makeup, but is also a total stunner with makeup!!!"

Meghan's nose has been a topic of discussion ever since her relationship with Prince Harry got serious. In 2017, board-certified New York plastic surgeon Dr. Stephen T. Greenberg, MD, said he'd witnessed an upsurge of requests for Meghan's nose among his clientele.

He added, "Today, she is probably one of the top—if not the No. 1—request I get. Up until recently, the Kardashians were probably the most popular celebrity cosmetic requests."

The surgeon divulged that Meghan's nose is considered appealing due to its refined appearance, featuring a straight nasal profile and a well-defined tip. This balanced and elegant look is what many patients find attractive and seek to replicate.

Dr. Vartan Mardirossian also believed that Meghan's nose is not natural, adding that she may have gotten subtle cosmetic work done to turn the tip "more up." The doctor shared that the straight area near the tip of her nose could also have been "nicely refined."

The plastic surgeon continued, "These changes are subtle and very natural and are likely the work of a talented rhinoplasty surgeon. The nostrils and the surrounding soft tissue (the alar area) have not changed."

Dr. Andrew Miller also suggested that if Meghan had any work done on her nose, it would likely be a subtle refinement of the tip. This change would have narrowed the nose slightly and lifted it for a more sculpted appearance.

However, Dr. Adam Hamawy observed that Meghan's nose appeared to remain unchanged from her natural features, with no noticeable plastic surgery. He emphasizes that the mild imperfections added to her natural beauty, contributing to her distinct and timeless look. " Any differences that I've seen are easily accounted for by her facial expression, makeup, or lighting," he insisted.

In the debated selfie video, the Duchess shared about the work she did supporting those affected by the California fires. Meghan, who resides in Montecito with her family, noted that Billie Eilish had sent her a thoughtful package, including a signed vinyl.

This package was sent after Meghan Markle met a young girl who had lost her concert T-shirt and other belongings in the Eaton fire. Meghan recalled telling the girl, "'I don't know Billie Eilish but I'm gonna figure out how to get you this shirt.'"

She added, "So I thought of everybody I that knew and I made a voice note and I said, 'Please can someone get this voice note to Billie Eilish, this is what I'm asking.'" The Duchess was grateful that her message reached the "Ocean Eyes" singer, who signed and sent the incredible package.

"Huge thank you Billie Eilish, this is going to mean so much to her," gushed Meghan. She also thanked her celebrity friends Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo, who helped get the voice note to the relevant people.

Meghan and Harry visited the Eaton Fire victims in January at the Pasadena Convention Center. When the mayor of Pasadena, Victor Gordo was asked what he thought about Meghan and Harry stopping by, he said the two are "great people" with "great personality." He added that it took a "great heart" for them to come out and meet with first responders and victims.

The mayor shared that people were very happy to see the couple, who wanted to be as helpful and supportive as they could be. Harry and Meghan visited affected families and areas burnt out by the fire in Pasadena and Altadena. "They are just very caring people who are very concerned for their friends and neighbors," the Pasadena mayor acknowledged.

The mayor also revealed that this was their second visit, sharing that the first time, they were serving food anonymously with masks on. "They didn't come out here for publicity. They came out here to work," he added.

Meghan and Harry are widely recognized for their charitable endeavors. They actively support and collaborate with numerous organizations to create positive change and advocate for those in need.
