Kathy Griffin Reveals the Shocking Cost of Her Third Facelift

The "Seinfeld" alum — who has been open about her cosmetic work — discussed the cost of her latest procedure during a recent podcast appearance. She revealed she had a third facelift in August.

Kathy Griffin is an open book — and she is unapologetic about it. The longtime actress and comedian appeared on the "Good Guys" podcast in an episode published on Monday, November 10, where she revealed the whopping cost of her third face lift.

"It was not cheap," she admitted to hosts Josh Peck and Ben Soffer. "You ready? 218,000 [dollars]. [...] Do you know how many dick jokes I have to tell for $218,000? I have to do at least two shows."

Still, while the price tag was high, Griffin vowed she would never pay the kind of cost some of her peers might. "I'm just such a money person. I can't bring myself to do it," she said.

Peck and Soffer had pointed out that some surgeons in Beverly Hills, California, are charging "upwards of a million dollars" for the procedure. However, the "Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List" alum revealed that she was able to get quality work for a six-figure price.

"What I love about my D-List life is, I went to Kris Jenner's last guy," she said. "Not the million ponytail, because they do this thing now called the ponytail where they — I don't know if they shave your head on top — but they pull your whole face up, as if you were putting yourself in a high ponytail."

"And that one's called the ponytail and that's what Kris got. But I went to her last guy," she continued. Griffin wasn't referring to Jenner's most recent surgeon, Dr. Steven Levine, who performed the millionaire momager's viral facelift.

She previously credited Beverly Hills-based celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Ben Talei with performing her third procedure when she disclosed it on an episode on her own podcast, "Talk Your Head Off," in early August.

Griffin had sparked speculation the previous month when fans noticed a visible difference in her appearance. She dedicated the entire segment to addressing the rumors — using her signature unfiltered humor — and detailed her entire experience.

The 65-year-old said she thought it was "funny" she even had another facelift because, as she put it, "It's not like I'm known for my face. But anyway, um, yes, it's my third. I know that's so vain!"

"I'm so vain for no reason. No one has ever gone to a Kathy Griffin show to see her beautiful youthful face," she continued. "You come to hear my jokes, which is what I want. I don't want you to come to care what I look like."

The actress shared that in addition to her face life, she also got work done on her eyelids and chin. After her procedure, she stayed at a recovery center before returning home to continue the healing process.
