TAMRON'SCHILDHOOD

Tamron Hall (was born in Luling, Texas) was raised by her mother, grandfather, and stepfather. Although she came from a low-income household, that didn't stop her childhood from being wonderful, and according to Hall, she wouldn't trade those memories for anything.

Her stepfather ensured she had a proper education before joining the workforce, and after college, Hall worked at KBTX in Texas as a reporter before spending four years working at KTVT in Dallas.

This led her to a 10-year job at WFLD in Chicago, where she earned her first Emmy nomination for "The Bottom Line," her consumer report segment, and that was the start of her fame.

SECRETMARRIAGE

In 2019, Hall surprised the world with the two shocking announcements - her pregnancy and her marriage to Steven Greener. The reporter disclosed in an interview that her relationship with Greener began in 2017 after she left NBC. In her words,

"Steven was my first and only boyfriend who did not have to turn on the TV to see me, and I think that's been important."

She and the music manager were friends for years before their relationship turned romantic. Hall decided to keep her marriage to Greener a secret because she considered it a matter of privacy.

She also praised her husband for being the type of father who enjoyed spending time with his son and recalled a moment when the music executive went out for pancakes with their son.
