KK Dixon Is the Mother of Ja Morant's Child - Meet His Ex-girlfriend

KK Dixon became a mother at a young age and got pregnant with her child while dating American professional basketball player Temetrius Jamel "Ja" Morant.

KK Dixon is a sport-loving social media star who looks like she's enjoying the best time of her life as an independent single woman. Since her split from Ja Morant, she has consistently posted her new glow on social media.

The mother of one is seemingly having the time of her life as she goes out often to have fun and shares updates with her fans on Instagram.

In one of her outings, she posed in front of a mirror wearing a pink sleeveless dress while showing off her luscious brown hair. She completed her looks with a chain-link necklace and a chain-link shoulder bag.

KK opted for an orange and white ensemble in another look as she posed on the streets wearing an orange tube-fitted dress paired with white mules and a white shoulder bag.

Besides dresses, she knows how to show off her sporty side. She took to Instagram to share a picture of her wearing a black turtleneck crop top paired with high-waisted jeans, a pair of purple-toned sneakers, and a trucker hat.

With every outfit she shares, her fans in the comments section tell her she is glowing, gorgeous, pretty, and more. There is much more to learn about KK besides being an NBA player's ex-girlfriend.

Meet KK Dixon

KK was born Kadre Dixon on August 31, 1999. She is from Little Rock, Arizona, and attended Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee, where she played volleyball.

However, there is no clear information on if she has already graduated. She joined the HBCU Connect on May 1, 2017, as a representative of the Fisk class of 2021. In August 2022, she celebrated her 23rd birthday with a gorgeous look.

She posed in what seemed to be a restaurant wearing a red halterneck ruched dress, a subtle makeup glow, and her center-parted curly hair flowing down her shoulders.

In the caption of her Instagram post, KK revealed how blessed she has been. As she celebrated the next chapter of her life, she also hoped it would be her best year yet.

Before celebrating her birthday, she had celebrated her daughter's 3rd birthday. KK had become a mother a few weeks shy of her 20th birthday.

She welcomed her daughter Kaari Jaidyn Morant on August 7, 2019. For Kaari's 3rd birthday, she shared a lovely message on Instagram and included a carousel of their sweetest moments.

In one of the videos in the carousel, Kaari hilariously denied that her mother was cute, while in one image, the mother-daughter duo enjoyed the sunset on the beach as they hugged each other.

KK's caption for the post stated that having her daughter has given her the best three years of her life. She also said that she loves her daughter, who is her strength, reason, and best friend for life.

KK is also a fan of the NFL team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. She took her daughter Kaari to her first football game in October 2022. The mother and daughter seemed to have had a good time.

For the game, they wore matching Steelers hooded tops paired with camouflage combat pants and a pair of matching yellow sneakers.

KK Dixon Suffered from Preeclampsia

During KK's pregnancy with Kaari, she almost lost her life to preeclampsia. Preeclampsia is a type of high blood pressure (hypertension) that can arise during pregnancy.

It started around her 31st week of pregnancy, and she suffered a series of life-threatening symptoms that caused her to deliver her baby early.

Fortunately, she survived the health scare and delivered her baby successfully. In honor of Kaari's first birthday, KK launched the initiative for a campaign to raise preeclampsia awareness among other women who might be suffering from the same condition.

Her campaign was tagged "I wish I knew," and she served as one of the Promise Walk co-chairs for the Preeclampsia Foundation. During the campaign, she said:

"I am not trying to frighten anyone. I believe knowledge is power. I want to empower you with the information you need to have the best possible outcome for you and your baby."

KK Dixon Is a Doting & Hands-on Mom

KK melts the hearts of her followers every time she shares photos with her daughter. She often steps out twinning with her daughter as they wear matching outfits.

On their visit to the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in April, they wore all-black ensembles with matching yellow sneakers. In another post, they showed off their matching yellow wellies.

KK also makes sure that she spends enough time with her daughter. During winter, they can be seen playing with the snow and making snow figures. They also spend time at the beach or having various fun activities, including posing for mirror selfies.

Meanwhile, KK once shared her thoughts on being a parent, calling it the biggest blessing, and gave a shout-out to all parents.

KK also encouraged other parents to make memories with their kids. And as a mom, she claims she's raising her daughter to be a "Queen."

Are KK Dixon and Ja Morant Still Together?

KK and Ja don't seem to be a couple anymore. When asked if she had a boyfriend, she only replied with emojis of two index fingers pointing at each other.

The NBA player reaffirmed the split when a fan accused him of cheating on Twitter. In his response, he tweeted: "can't cheat if you single."

In addition, when he tweeted about his "Queens," Ja Morant, who surprises his mother with luxurious gifts, mentioned his mother, daughter, and sister, but not KK.

However, it seems like co-parenting is going well for the former couple, as he recently took their daughter to his game and cradled her courtside.
