Anna Kane: Everything about Evander Kane's Ex-wife and Their Complicated Divorce

Evander Kane's ex-wife, Anna Kane, has often chosen to stay out of the limelight despite being married to a well-known athlete. However, the "active mom's" name has been all over trending news.
Evander Kane has been at the center of numerous controversies over the years. From the Makievsky assault case to the result of his gambling addiction being publicized and his tumultuous marriage with Anna Kane ending bitterly.
WHO IS ANNA KANE?
Anna Kane was born in the year 1992. According to The U.S. Sun, she is an active mom who enjoys hiking and trips to lavish destinations. However, Kane prefers to stay away from the spotlight.
Kane was married to the San Jose Sharks star in 2018, while according to The Daily Mail, the Sharks forward was in the midst of a $6 million lawsuit. It involved Evander's ex-girlfriend, who claimed he had forced her to abort two of his would-be children.

However, the former love birds' relationship became progressively bitter shortly after. Anna made a series of allegations against the NHL hockey star until they eventually called it quits in an ugly divorce battle.
WHAT HAPPENED BETWEEN EVANDER AND ANNA KANE?
As reported by HITC, Anna went on an explosive Instagram rant alleging that her then-husband was throwing games to pay off his gambling debts. She continued to accuse him of infidelity with model Mara Teigen, whose appearance is often likened to that of Angelina Jolie's.
The hiking enthusiast indirectly accused Teigen, tagging her in the since-deleted Instagram post, of wrecking her home and Evander of being an unreliable father and husband, saying:
"So do u feel good about yourself [expletive] my husband when I'm at home pregnant and he can't even give me money to buy my daughter formula?"
A few years before Evander and Anna tied the knot, he had dated Mara Teigen. According to The U.S. Sun, Anna fired shots at Teigen, saying that Evander called her ugly and that she was involved with old rich men while they dated.
Evander adamantly denied the gambling/betting allegations with a statement posted on Twitter, and as per the league's responsibility, an internal investigation was launched into the allegations.

The San Jose Sharks player was forthcoming about his gambling addiction. Although he made millions from his career, in a federal court report gathered by Heavy, Evander was over $25 million in debt in January 2021. In July of 2021, Anna filed for divorce.
In his second statement - also posted on Twitter - Kane explained that despite Anna's heated rants about his unreliability, he always cared for his daughter and wife and would continue to do so without question.
The athlete continued to lament about how he has tried to de-escalate the situation surrounding his divorce and his restricted communication with his daughter, where Anna wanted to use her as leverage.

It seems Anna relied entirely on Evander for her and her daughter's livelihood. While she complained that she couldn't even afford formula for her daughter, she was also reportedly pregnant with Evander's would-be third child.
However, after reviewing medical bills, he found out that Anna had had an abortion in July - the same month she released her fiery allegations against him. Evander said that she often spoke about the baby. However, she failed to let him know of the abortion. She said:
"I was less than forthcoming with [Evander] with regards to my decision. [...] did not inform [Evander] or the court that I was no longer pregnant."

NHL's star explained in court that until after he reviewed, he suspected Anna wore prosthetics to make her deceit more convincing; however, she has denied those claims. He said that his now ex-wife wanted to cause him mental trauma.
Moreover, The U.S. Sun reported that Anna Kane filed domestic and sexual assault as part of her divorce case. Evander's lawyers were quick to shut that case down, saying that her accusations lacked credibility.
DO EVANDER KANE AND ANNA KANE HAVE CHILDREN TOGETHER?
In March 2019, Evander and Anna Kane suffered the loss of their 28-week-old daughter, Eva, at Standford Hospital. The following year, in July, Kensington Ava was born.
As a result of an ugly divorce battle and a pending psychiatric evaluation, Evander won temporary sole custody of his daughter, says New York Post. In the meantime, Anna Kane would have supervised visits with her daughter.
